Red Bull Hardline 2017

MOUNTAIN BIKING’S BEST AND BRAVEST TAKE ON RED BULL HARDLINE THIS WEEKEND LIVE ON RED BULL TV, SEPTEMBER 24th

Hailed as one of the planet’s toughest mountain bike races, the fourth edition will launch down the hills of North Wales on a course designed by Dan Atherton to test every skillset

Hard by name, hard by nature, Red Bull Hardline isn’t an event for the faint of heart. Returning to the hills of the Dyfi Valley in Wales for the fourth consecutive year, the brainchild of visionary Downhill rider Dan Atherton was conceived to push the progression of mountain biking for both riders and fans. The course he designed for the 2017 edition combines heart-stopping grades and rocky technical sections, punctuated with a 50-foot jump that will send the riders right off the mountainside and virtually over the heads of the spectators. Watch it all live, only on Red Bull TV.

Red Bull Hardline 2017 broadcast on Red Bull TV takes you inside the action, with the premier point-of-view throughout one of the most progressive downhill courses ever created. Presented by British MTB legend Rob Warner who will provide a framework that educates and entertains core fans and new viewers alike. In-depth features break down the context of the sport to draw viewers even closer to the personalities – from the training to the tricks and from the course to the eventual champion. Watch live and On Demand on Red Bull TV: Sunday, September 24, 2017.

“We have worked hard to create a course that has helped raise the profile of downhill here in the UK and is also recognized as one of the hardest courses in the world,” commented Atherton, who has put months of work into building the course with this team. “The idea was to create a course that flows and suits riders from a range of disciplines, so we have pulled inspiration from a variety of courses including motocross, BMX and dirt jumps.”
