The Megavalanche in Alpe d’Huez, France is one of the world’s most famous downhill marathon races. Every year since 1995 thousands of riders take to the start line on the Pic Blanc at 3330 meters high on the glacier. The race finishes in Allemont, 2600 meters down, making this the longest and craziest downhill race in the world!
The Megavalanche is part of the European Mass Start Series together with the four Maxiavalanche events.
