There have been lots of rumours surrounding mountain biking trails in Killarney for years. And since the beginning of 2019, with selected uplift days, videos and photos have been appearing on social media, which has only increased the interest.
Emerald MTB sat down with the brains and drive behind the Shronaboy track, Denis O’Shea and Jason Murphy.
They tell us what led them to start building mountain bike trails in Killarney, how they arrived at Shronaboy, the work involved and the races that are to be held at the venue over the coming months.
